Steve, Dave and Chris, three of McCune’s finest in the middle of the Kendal Jackson National Sales Meeting. At one point during the meeting everyone was asked to put in their Viking hats. Of course that included all McCune technicians on site. The Kendall Jackson National Sales Meeting was held at the Double Tree Hotel in San Jose on August 18th, 2008. McCune provided audio, video and lighting support for the event.

2008 PLAYBOY JAZZ FESTIVAL
With a turntable type stage and no down time between performers the Playboy Jazz Festival can be challenging from an Audio Engineering standpoint. McCune did an outstanding job and the entire weekend sounded top notch,“The massive amphitheater’s sound system was excellent…” - Patricia Myers, All About Jazz.
Over the past 29 years at the Playboy Jazz Festival, McCune has had the opportunity to work with such talent as Etta James, Ray Charles, Miles Davis, Ella Fitzgerald, B.B. King, Boz Skaggs and Jamie Cullum. This year’s line up was equally impressive: Herbie Hancock, Al Jarreau, Guitars & Saxes, Keb’Mo (a McCune favorite), Poncho Sanchez, Tower of Power and James Moody just to name a few. McCune is proud to be involved in an event with such a rich history of talent and soul.
McCune provided sound reinforcement for the 29th year at the 2008 Playboy Jazz Festival held June 14-15 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. The first Playboy Jazz Festival was held in Chicago, Illinois at the Chicago Stadium in 1959. However, the second festival did not occur until 1979 when it was moved to the Hollywood Bowl. McCune has been providing unsurpassed audio support for the Jazz Festival ever since it moved to Los Angeles.
